As a Construction Manager, Canaveral Construction is involved at all phases of the project - Design, Pre-Construction and Construction. At the Design Phase our involvement is to provide our client with construction – perspective oversight and analysis of the client provided design, serving as a consultant to the owner during design but taking on the role of contractor during the construction phase. Our role as a Construction Manager is to bring value to the project by enhancing cost, schedule and quality.
The Design-Build project delivery method includes contractor involvement at all phases of the project, similar to what is experienced in a Construction Management project. However, this method provides the owner with a single point of contact for both the design and construction phases of a project. The Design-Build team holds the responsibility and risk for every aspect of a project.
Pre-Construction project development includes general project planning, phasing and logistics, detailed preconstruction and construction scheduling, material, and means and methods investigation. Based on owner and project requirements we develop a thorough analysis of each site which creates the foundation for a successful project. From design to final construction, we manage every project’s schedule, cost and quality to minimize our client’s risk.

Canaveral Construction enjoys working for customers with projects as diverse as launch-related facilities for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), extensive Educational Facilities and Entities that include University Of Central Florida, Florida Institute of Technology, Brevard County Public Schools, and Volusia County Public Schools. We have also worked with Federal Agencies that include Port Canaveral, US Air Force, URS, AECOM, and the NRO, as well as various County and City Municipalities through out Central Florida.
